That would be very useful. I want to see a configurable object limit as well, I would love to go beyond the 10k limit.

Try clicking on the default exposure and magnitude setting on the bottom right of the screen.  It's the 0 icons between the 2 + and -  icons.

It's possible that those might of got set really high somehow.

A Note About Eventual Mac Compatibility

Yeah they have been pushing metal API exclusivity for a while now. As for user base for mac, I hear a lot of people state there is a large one but in my 20+ years of computer involvement which actually started on mac only as that is all our school had, I recall only meeting 2-3 people that did some ...

Science and Astronomy Questions

I don't know how much it would effect the outcome but M class stars are entirely convective so they will eventually fuse practically all their Hydrogen and continue as a Helium burning convective star. But one thing is the rate they fuse at is so much slower than the core fusion stars, in order of 1...

It's not distance but how long you were traveling and at what speed relative to say the ground, also to some slight degree slightly faster time passage due to having every so slightly less gravity being higher up.   Time slows down in when fixed in a gravitational well. As for dilation relative to v...

Nice!  I have seen several fireballs during my life, some during the middle of the day even.  The last one I saw about 3 years ago I happen to be outside at night lit up all the ground like day and was very green in colour.  Then the sonic boom came about 5-10 min later, about as loud as a jet at a ...

Any possibility of having a user configurable star browser object search limit added?  even something that can be set via a console command? For example the default is 10k, but if a user has good hardware where say he/she decides 50k is more appropriate for their PC and wants can set this as they wi...

I'm just amazed of what my mobile just did! I've captured from Madrid the Orion constellation near dawn with my phone. I putted ISO to 1600 and obturation time to 1/2 sec. This is what I got: http://i.imgur.com/RzEeXeO.jpg After that I used the digital zoom of the phone and took this close-up of th...
