Bugs must be fixed before new features are added because new features can introduce their own bugs and then you have bugs on top of bugs....so an infestation.  First fix bugs and then move onto new features.

Neptune 16K

Oh I thought it was already in there from before, as the 16K post was an old one.  I downloaded a Neptune 16K pack from the workshop over the summer, I hope it's the same one?

Coronavirus (COVID-19) Thread

38022 This might be a reason to get an infinite number of vaccines and stay the hell away from people who are likely not to be vaccinated. Brain shrinkage, delusions, hallucinations, etc, even in people with mild symptoms? Perhaps an unusual case, although it's not at all uncommon for COVID-19 to h...

Astrobiology Poll

Yes that was mentioned in the second paper I just finished that an hour ago.  There are only three factors known for certain, (stellar spectral type, age of the system and mass of the planet within relative probabilities.) I found the break down on the different paradigm shifts after life begins qui...

Astrobiology Poll

38030 Interestingly, they are basing this on when Earth was a tropical rain forest paradise and are looking for planets warmer, wetter and larger than earth and with denser atmospheres with more oxygen. Funny how climate doomsayers think warmer, wetter means inhabitable Earth, whilst astrobiologist...

Astrobiology Poll

Got a couple of papers for you to read. The one is on superhabitable planets, planets better suited for life as we know it than Earth is.  Interestingly, they are basing this on when Earth was a tropical rain forest paradise and are looking for planets warmer, wetter and larger than earth and with d...

Coronavirus (COVID-19) Thread

38018 Be careful with the booster if you decide to take it. My basic take on vaccines is that the benefits should outweigh the risks.  So if there is a 10% chance of getting a disease, the disease should be at least 10 times worse than the ill effects of the vaccine.  The benefit of doubt is given ...

Coronavirus (COVID-19) Thread

38012 I was reading today that Norway, Denmark, Sweden and Finland are having great success with dealing with the pandemic because of the extremely high vaccination rates in those nations. Norway lifted the restrictions last week despite an infection rate near the top of the entire pandemic, when 2...

General questions about SpaceEngine

38011 I deleted all the default music from the music folder and that did the trick for me. From the SpaceEngine\data\music folder? You should not  be touching that. You should be making all changes  to the game through a proxy folder in addons. oh if I want to use different music?  Thanks I didn't ...

The fact by sharing your DNA also means sharing your relatives' DNA is just how nature works.  You own your of DNA, it was not given to you under an NDA, so you can share it if you like.  But that your ability to have control over your own DNA is limited, doesn't mean that it's OK to sample every c...
