Translators

Could I renew my proposition? I saw Roswell is now in the translator group even though he didn't really ask to be and I'm not quite sure he is be able to do the translation correctly (no offense here, but I'm noting he is doing a lot of mistakes and I remember he wasn't so good at French neither on ...

Totally off-topic thread

Has any of you seen what's happening on SpaceEngine sub on Reddit? I'm pretty sure nothing is gonna be donated but I promotes SpaceEngine in a bad way with the attention it gets.  People even said the site was compromised which led some people to think SpaceEngineer was the OP trying to promote his ...

Intergalactic trip in preparation

Well if that's the case for most of the people on the forum, I guess I'll pick some of my best planets then or some great finds posted here or on Reddit.
I hope I'll get enough time to do it this week-end, though I doubt this will be possible I'll give some news about it soon.

Work progress - 0.9.8.1

4738 It is most likely to be a major update, but 0.9.9 sounds too close to 1.0 so I don't know what SpaceEngineer is planning to do. Not necessarily, there can perfectly be a 0.9.10, 0.9.11, and so on. Of course but SpaceEngineer never did that so I doubt this will be the case... Anyway let's stop ...

Work progress - 0.9.8.1

4720 My god, i haven't been this hyped for an update since version 0.97! And 0.9.8.1 is a "minor update", in that increases version number by 0.0.0.1. If this is a minor update, i can't wait to see a major update (I have only played 0.9.8.0). Also, i know there isn't an release date, but ...

Troubleshooting and bug reports - SpaceEngine 0.9.8.0

VoyagerX, Hi.
Apparently it's a bug affecting black holes so that effect does not appear in SE 0980.
The good news is that's been corrected and it will work in SE 0981 version.

It works perfectly for me.

Intergalactic trip in preparation

Hello! I am currently preparing myself to do an intergalactic trip between two planets. For this trip, I chose to use some really great orbits mechanics SpaceEngine has with black hole.  Long story short, I'm gonna use a black hole to slingshot myself (e.g. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jK51d1n80U...

Even with a computer guidance system that would be exceptionally difficult.

By using a KSP kind of maneuver and aiming for the exact center of a galaxy (automated of course), I think it wouldn't be that hard.

General suggestions for SpaceEngine

One small (but difficult I  understand) request:  I am trying to perform a slingshot / gravity assist to escape from solar system and do a voyager style interstellar mission. I know that I can just put a spacecraft at an appropriate point close to a planet and do it that way  but would it be too mu...

Engineer is in my friendlist on VK (russian Facebook), he could say these things right in PM on our language and it would be much faster. The only reason why he wrote it here in english is that he wanted to show up and tell people I am an idiot. I proved him wrong so anybody could see it too. Oh we...
