23509 Why is the Steam price kept secret? It's not a secret, it simply hasn't been decided yet. 23547 What's so good about space engine being on steam? SpaceEngineer has already made a post with a list of benefits. 23551 I wonder what kind of confusion this will cause with the game "Space Engi...

Work progress 0.9.9.0

I just had to move another huge batch of posts for being off topic, mostly arguments about SE being on Steam (which was mainly the same two people posting the same things over and over again, which is unproductive and confusing).

22549 JackDole said "maybe this year, or next year, or maybe even later." But maybe I should've said something else. What he said is essentially the same as saying "between now and the end of time". It doesn't imply anything at all. If he, by your own admission, said "maybe...

Qr Bbpost I might have said this before but, it's pretty much confirmed that it will be released 2020 or maybe even still later.

Please don't post nonsense and mislead people with it, it benefits no one.

Guys, don't get too hung up on SE version numbers, they're almost meaningless, they often don't follow a logical pattern and the system by which they're assigned has already been changed multiple times (and will be changed again in the future to something that actually makes good sense).

Ok, let's get into the numbers so we can settle this definitively. First we'll lo...

Qr Bbpost I had the idea of possibly having support for the newNvidia Volta graphics cards, which support realtime raytracing.

This would have limited usefulness in SE at present, and anyway RTX is only going to be usable with DirectX and Vulkan. SE uses OpenGL.

Edit : I actually would be content with a 30°C temperature swing between summer and winter, but only if that swing was specifically between -8°C and 22°C. Also...
