New planet classification

if laky should really be lacustrine, "pertaining to lakes", shouldn't the term "lacustre" cover this, same as italian? "Lacustre" sounds somewhat obscure in Spanish; but you're right, it's the correct term. Also, I think I have some alternatives to "biopeligroso&q...

New planet classification

Firstly, I thought about an alternative to "jupiter" and "neptune". What do you think about the terms "Neptunia" and "Jovia"? Also, I found some translation problems to Spanish of several terms. - "Airless" can only be "sin aire", which are...

General suggestions for SpaceEngine

I had an idea (which has probably been discussed before, for which I apologize) regarding to spaceship orbital mechanics. Many of you might already know about the game Kerbal Space Program. My question is, would it be feasible to add "maneuvers" to plan a route, like those found in the abo...

Work progress - 0.9.8.1

What do you mean? Orange palette is a representation of Io-like sulfur moons. Brownish spots are dark organic deposits. For example, taken from procedural selenas on different types of stars: scr00007.png scr00008.png scr00009.png On February, I posted a question asking whether those "marks&qu...

I apologize in advance if this is off-topic or has been answered previously:
Regarding to the golden/orang-ish "strains" on selenas, I was told they were probably a graphical glitch.
Do you know whether it will be fixed in the upcomimg version?

Good way to add to immersion - what about yours?

I create a "home" system with one Earth-like terra with life in which a human civilization lives. Then, I write "journal entries" from the perspective of different people involved in the development of a space program set to explore the Universe.  From a physicist that comes up w...

Don't mind. I just saw you were already talking about it.

All Selenas have same golden "stains"

I have tried blanking out the Palette information on Selenas but it seems no matter what changes I make that gold color will not go away.  I also had this problem with my Interstellar addon, this has lead me to think this is caused from something in the shaders. I will put in some time experimentin...

All Selenas have same golden "stains"

I do not know if this is a bug, or a default characteristic of procedurally generated Selenas; but all of them have these golden-orange-brown "patches" or "strains" in large parts of their surface. I tried changing their colour both directly from the script, and through a palette...
