28954  Defintely a thorn in the side of realism. How? Radar and LIDAR are perfectly fine for mapping out height data of Earth https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/399446196512358401/579940203599495169/article-0-0F10F89700000578-639_634x481.jpg In what way is this inaccurate? How would a radar map...

Conspiracy Theory Thread

We lost one of the greats recently when it comes to conspiracies. UFO researcher Stanton Friedman dies after half-century effort to prove alien life https://postmediacanoe.files.wordpress.com/2019/05/stanton-friedman-e1557866360571.jpg “I have never seen a flying saucer, and I have never seen an ali...

Gnargenox, yep, thats a hack I stumbled on years ago alongside the corona as accretion disk(before it was added) that JackDole, ran away with and still uses to this day.  Though he and I were both experimenting a lot in the early days and we often found many of the same hacks.

Gnargenox, is this a ship or a planet?

If you did this with a planet, you should copy JackDole and make that into cloud layers to get transparency

Messier, you can just rename it.  In my Alpha Centauri addon, I think its part of the Avatar addon but need to check, it has those planets still but renamed to proper exoplanet names.

The Future of Humanity & Intelligent life in the universe

28761 It's safer to say that we're the first species to utilise much of Earth's resources to build advanced, global civilisations. Which is what I was implying with my " as far as we can tell " remark. I am not making definitive statements, only statements based in the data that we have n...

The Future of Humanity & Intelligent life in the universe

28748 there are a host of species that could take on the mantle of Earth's dominant intelligent species in the next millions of years, after the proverbial dust settled and the ecosystem normalized. Blind speculation with no evidence to suggest they would. 28748 We cannot say for sure that we are t...

The Future of Humanity & Intelligent life in the universe

28740 and it takes two chances to jump over the Great Filter that lies ahead of us. Nothing of our civilization outside of some strange geologic anomalies will appear in the record and those could be explained through some very rare much more likely things in nature. So to burst your bubble, if a f...

More random planets, I think it is very close to done as just about every planet has natural tones and there is a wide range of variation including variations within planets with life. Few weeks well spent, planets now look like planets and not cartoons Couple of imgur galleries https://imgur.com/a/...
