Qr Bbpost How about using that style of button for all of the menu?

They will be low-contrast, background could interfere with text.

Qr Bbpost Could this shader be used for clouds too?

Not this exactly shader, but similar technology - yes.

Qr Bbpost Is that a protostar?(The one with blue rings in the last picture)

No. I didn't said that protostars with protoplanet disks was implemented. This was just an experiment. Read my message carefully.

Qr Bbpost Do I notice a new menu option that says 'Singleplayer'??? Does that mean we are going to have some gameplay as well in this update?

Ships, as in previous version. They are separated to a single player, to remove interference with ability to randomly change in-game time in the planetarium.

More accurate lunar/solar eclipses

Solar/lunar eclipses are not accurate due to lack of accurate orbital solution for Earth and Moon (and other planets/moons). The next version will have those solution (numerical model of the Solar System), so eclipses will be accurate.
Reddening of the Moon in the eclipse shadow is not supported yet.

Qr Bbpost I have an idea, I think you should update this or make a mod to have volumetric/3d clouds!

It is simply impossible.

Realistic shapes/maps of known Solar asteroids/comets

With recently implemented static space ships, it's possible to expand this system to render any kind of planetary object with a custom model (as like Celestia did). So you may start importing obj models of asteroids as "space ships" (using the manual ). When complete, email models to me, a...

Sorry for delaying VR, but I was forced to shift priorities. VR is a tiny part of "SE market", I spent on it too much time and it still require a lot of work. But 0.981 will have almost full VR support (no native Oculus Touch, because I don't have them).

Yes, we with Duke are working on procedural raymarched nebulae. Galaxies, clouds etc probably will be delayed to 0.982.

Publications about SE

This is a thread for the collection of publications about SE on the Internet. Will be used for promotion, so share here your findings! Priority is for new publications (1-2 years old). I am interested in publications on websites/magazines, not threads on the forum. https://www.gearthblog.com/blog/ar...

COMMUNITY ADDON - Catalog Fixes for SE

I need to upgrade my exoplanet tool to allow processing the list of false positives. Otherwise the only way to remove them from the SE catalogs is manual.
