This artifact is caused by bloom algorithm. Can be reduced by more complex sampling method in shader (software bicubic instead of hardware bilinear), in cost of performance.

Wow amazing Phunnie! So, you have Bortle 8 sky, and still able to got such amazing shots? What scope do you have?
I will buy a telescope soon, so will join the club:) I have Bortle 9, the most polluted sky as possible. But narrow-band filters doing magics :)

Triple solar eclipse on Jupiter, January 24, 2015. You can't see this in SE, because current build have a bug with incorrect orientation of satellite's orbits. Will be fixed in the next update.

Wtf, they probably changed the naming convention. Original asteroids database in SE (Asteroids.sc, Asteroids-small.sc etc) is made by processing a catalog file downloaded from MPC. This was many years ago though. Maybe all asteroids in SE should be updated to the new naming?
