Troubleshooting and bug reports - SpaceEngine 0.9.8.0

I'm going to keep using 0.9.8.0e, just because I don't dive into black holes or use ships that often.

12667 collide with a planet or star Which is death in all the best ways This question started off from a discussion in the Gameplay forum about being able to destroy a planet with a push of a button. Would a ship powered by an Alcubierre warp drive be able to destroy a planet by ramming it at FTL s...

No schedule. Adding support of those languages require implementing Unicode and custom TTF fonts, and also alternate writing direction (for Arabic). Not in priority, sorry (90% of market is USA and Europe anyway). In case you haven't already started looking into Unicode fonts,  Noto is Google's pro...

12449 With the way Harold White explained it in his paper the field requires some form of input to offset it, this is why in SpaceEngine now it works as a boosting factor. I always interpreted that to mean that if you turned on the field without an initial velocity, you simply wouldn't move. While ...

Why, and what would happen if you tried it? If the warp field can't be maintained, wouldn't that be more of an effect of the planet's gravity rather than its atmosphere?

But if an emergency brake is needed, what's to stop someone from building a warp drive without an emergency brake and installing it on an unmanned ship to make a planet-killer missile? The other question that interests me about the Alcubierre drive is whether any matter entering the warp bubble from...

What would happen if a ship with an Alcubierre warp drive collided with a planet at FTL speeds? Or a star?

Yes, but the effect used to work properly before.. i doubt it's a matter of the graphic card

I'm trying to find out whether only people with NVIDIA cards are seeing this bug, because SpaceEngineer might have made a change in 0.9.8.0e that doesn't work on NVIDIA.

General suggestions for SpaceEngine

In 0.9.8.0e, distant objects now have a lot more bloom around them than they used to, but this means that in the planetary system view, it's impossible to make out any surface features on moons and small planets. Can the amount of bloom be reduced for just the planetary system icons?

Note: the same thing about the rectangle during the redshift effect happened to me when i got that same view from the surface of Vela Pulsar Yes, I'm seeing it on neutron stars too. Here I'm on the surface of the Crab Nebula's pulsar looking up at its accretion disc. Do you also have an NVIDIA grap...

Ever since I updated to 0.9.8.0e, the cubemap of the blueshifted sky around black holes only affects a rectangle with the same aspect ratio as my display, instead of covering the entire sky.
