Ideas for SE for improving its utility in comprehending the universe

Not sure how to make a title for this idea, perhaps someone can suggest a better title, but basically would be nice to have a place for ideas on things that can be added to Space Engine that will help us picture and visualise and comprehend the things we are trying to picture and visualise and compr...

SpaceEngineer:

As you know, SE have an opposite feature - speed is linked to stereobase. Isn't this enough?
Yes I agree that's enough

As a note for the UX, there is no "Exit Game" in VR that I can find

VR controls/UX suggestions

I think lessons can be learned from Universe Sandbox, but some of them would be "what NOT to do". It has some good ideas, but it's a VERY wonky experience.

VR controls/UX suggestions

I personally think that a lot of users are going to be preferring to use gamepads over VR controllers simply because there are too many options, plus there is not much gameplay that requires "hands" yet in the simulation. As a result, I would request that we don't neglect UI features that ...

Please understand that this is not about secrecy, this is just about time management, as well as estimation. I don't think you realise but the reason the rule for not asking about release date exists is simply because it is quite rude to do so. We don't mind if people are just asking out of curiosit...

Hah! You can't go anywhere in this big big universe without meeting the same people all over again. xD I just wanted to check out the latest updates on 0.990, and the first thing I see is the name of the organiser of a certain deep space exploration event in which I currently participate. Greetings...

That's true. Also, the commoner thing was the only thing I mentioned about you GP300, and it was said with tongue in cheek. My main issue was the previous poster telling SpaceEngineer that he is not updating enough.  You are right, we have a good forum here. All we are trying to do is keep it that w...

Hi, things don't work like that with regards to this project. 95% of the work is being done by one man, and at the moment he has not earned a wage for it for 10 years, just donations. He works hard on it and takes the time to write long detailed updates whenever he has something to report and has th...

Please leave the moderating for moderators. I personally found that image quite funny, he wasn't actually asking, just making a joke about the whole waiting thing. Maybe a fellow mod will disagree, but still it's important to let us do the moderating, if you spot any posts that need our attention, p...

I find that when I have a new idea to implement, and I get a working albeit buggy version up and running, I don't like to send it out to open beta for fear that it will put people off using it. I want people to use my stuff, and if the first time they encounter it it really sucks, they get a negativ...
