Qr Bbpost If you make two translations ('ser-lat-gui.cfg' and 'ser-cyr-gui.cfg'), they are both included.

10246 You can make two translation, calling them ser-lat and ser-cyr for example. Okay, thanks! :) When I finish translating, in which version is it going to be included? Does it depend on my timing or You are going to ask for tranlations if they are ready? Because I don't want to mess things up. A...

10170 The loss of our dark skies is a very sad problem. =( Yes, it is sad. But that's what people wanted. Here, where I live, on one side, it is kinda light polluted, but on the other side, it is dark. It is dark because there is a mountain that only has cottages. I live on a hill that's nor mounta...

General suggestions for SpaceEngine

I have one interesting suggestion about the main menu. It would be great if there is a option to the SE Universe Gallery. So that people can see all of the pictures that we have taken so far. :) Would be nice to have that. And maybe a upload button for the new ones! I would love that! It would show...

General suggestions for SpaceEngine

Qr Bbpost That's really a good idea! It looks just like Steam Community's screenshot mechanism.

Yeah! We could see what planets we have discovered so far. I also meant that some of the pictures from the forum should be there. Like, some official pictures that are always there, and the community ones.

10106 Dualism can be deductively proven false I don't think dualism in its general sense can be proved false.  Rather, it cannot be falsified , which is why it isn't science or a defensible model of reality. We can quite likely show that consciousness is entirely physical, and thus dualism yields t...

10063 To see what happens in this scenario, see the episode of Star Trek: The Next Generation titled "Second Chances" (season 6, episode 24). I have seen some of the scenes, but not the whole episode. Watched also documentaries about that episode and teleportation of that kind. Gonna watc...

But, what about teleportation? There has been some talk here about would we be alive if we teleported and be ourselves. Let's say that we teleported. So all of our atoms had to be reasambled in one piece. But as we are ripped apart, that would mean we died. And let's say there is soul and we get our...

10020 That question presupposes that it came from anywhere. What if it was always there? We don't even know enough about it to ask such questions. When we try to ask questions like that, we end up making assumptions and presuppositions. Yeah, maybe it was always there. Even before space began exist...

HarbingerDawn , 10017 Unless you mean something else? By the Energy, I meant the creation of energy. Before our known space that we live in, it is just too complex for us to understand what there really was. Or we just can't understand it at all. Where did that energy come from? You are of course r...

10010 Life can't get on it's own. Why not? Everything we've discovered about the universe thus far suggests that life can readily come into being through natural evolutionary processes. Energy + laws of physics = elementary particles -> nuclear particles -> atoms -> stars -> more complex atoms -> c...
