Troubleshooting and bug reports - SpaceEngine 0.9.8.0

Can anyone tell me why that when the game crashes, all of my ships that WERE in stable orbits and ships DOCKED with said ships in orbit are suddenly no longer docked, and the orbiting ships are hundreds of thousands of kilometers away?  Super frustrating to have to re-do all of my orbits and docked...

Thanks for the graphs!  I've always wondered what shadows would look like in multiple star systems- especially with different colored stars!

Do you think if our Moon looked a little different, our space program would be a lot more advanced? ;)

(This one may be for the older crowd.)  Does this remind you of anything?

Personally, I think 980 has a lot of life left in it.

It is a extremely rare star, i think only a few stars out of billions of generated stars are bigger than that! ill nickname it: Sebi's Star https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/544680631909613568/564438752404045843/SpaceEngine_1920x1017_4_7_2019_9_16_36_AM.png That one was already "discovere...

https://imagizer.imageshack.com/img922/8761/oqATtz.png Hey... now we're talking. I like this one. I think possibly the only issue here is the clouds/horizon distinction. Obvious clouds on the left side of the pic, but they get totally lost on the right side. The rings and galactic background get bl...

*** framerate on captures!

I believe that option is available from the ctrl-F4 menu. If I have the shortcut key wrong (my apologies first if so), then the menu I speak of is the same one as from the "Settings" and then "Graphics" options from the main startup menu. (Sheesh! Must have the "verbose"...

Decimals? Sheer luxury. Why in my day we called pi "3 and 1/7", and we liked it that way. (insert grumpy smilie here)

Physical simulation of the space engine

27498 Do you need to convert from inches to cm first? Not at all. Trigonometry is really all about ratios. As long as the linear measurements are both in the same units, the ratio of the two will still be the same. As for actual scale of Mercury and the Sun... if you mean as they look from Earth, t...

Physical simulation of the space engine

27462 Is there a FOV that shows actual scale? That depends on the size of your monitor and how far away your eyes are from it. Basic trigonometry. It's 13.5 in tall and I'm about 25 in away from it. Edit: Sorry, my mistake. After a quick flight in SE, it does indeed appear that the FoV is from top ...

General questions about SpaceEngine

Say... does anybody know if ships are limited to just eight cameras?

I know, even cycling through eight can be a bit much, but sometimes you want more.

Perhaps a key to switch cameras that waits for a second key-press — the number of the camera position.
