Very nice sound! I think they would fit perfectly on animated shorts like The Cat Piano, but also many others

This will look very good with the retro skin, but also with other ones, can't wait to try it!

DoctorOfSpace's Mod Emporium v0.9.8.0

Looks very weird, I've never seen anything like that. Interesting.
I'm not sure if there's a model of it on the web and, as far as I know, Doc is not a professional 3D modeler, so a quite hard challenge indeed.  :)

Great, always wondered why solar elipses didn't match real time. Is that already added in internal beta or is it in the things to do list? Have been answered in the previous posts. Right now planets positions are not perfectly accurate, when  VSOP87 will be implemented solar eclipses time (and ...

6104 A lot of the PC gaming fanbase likes extensive options menu and influencial reviewers will tear the game to shreds if they can't have manual access to as many settings as possible. Condensed not reduced.  The menu is still far more in depth than most games so I don't think this is something to...

How about adding a screenshotting and even a movie feature into the program?  Right now I am using free 3D party tools to accomplish this- ScreenCaptor for screenshots and ScreenVirtuoso for movies.  SV has a nice compression feature to retain movie quality without taking up too much space.  I like...

It's a shame I've noticed the labels after I took those screenshot, but they look kind of gorgeous so hey, I'm gonna keep them!

A very PC discussion

NVIDIA DGX-1 A perfect computer for playing Minecraft, I guess. Jokes apart, my beloved R9 270 is starting to see age. I can play GTA 5 with maximum graphics and having 40-60 FPS but almost any game more recent than that is starting to give me some a low-ish framerate. It's not a big trouble fo...

Do you follow any sport? Like American Football, Football (or Soccer), Rugby, Basket, Hockey or any other. If yes, do you even practice it? I do follow Football game but I've never practiced it "professionally". P.S.: Also Rally is included in my question! (actually I know a few people doi...

SpaceMouse's (less fantasy) Enterprise

Actually even full-rings can be considered un-realistic since we didn't proved it is possible (also because these rings never cover the whole ship with the bubble).  I've personally designed spaceships for years while I was bored at school, and... well, there is no way to make a completely realistic...

Man, those are 5 years-old GPUs. Why not buy some GTX 1060?

I had a similar dream a few weeks ago, LoL
Anyway, I have false awakens quite often. Mainly when I sleep more than usual.

My idea for a small first "gameplay" mechanic - base building

I think the very best thing that can be added to Space Engine that can start very simple and shouldn't (in theory) be a huge project, would be simple base building. Unfortunately there is a technical limitation :) Space Engine's terrain is stored on the GPU and, for some reason, it's no...

Hornblower, I know it since 2012 and it's very cool! The only problem is that they send too many emails, I'm considering unsubscribing to them :)
