Also, yesterday I found a generated double-shore:

I'm afraid it's not very simple to fix...  :(

Show off your work

What do you guys think about this song? https://soundcloud.com/sidusbrist/lovely-eyes

It's a bit Guns N' Roses/Avenged Sevenfold inspired.  :)

The first black hole photo

Actually it looks like the accretion disk faces forwards us. It would be awesome if we took a photo of a black hole with very inclined disk. If you were to freefall into it (starting from rest just above the horizon and assuming no spin for the black hole), then after crossing the event horizon, it ...

General 0.990 Discussion

Have to open them in another tab and click from one to the next, there is a difference in each.  The difference is imperceptible on the forum due to small size of screens vs full resolution. I tried that again and I can see a difference in anisotropic filtering (higher is the resolution, "whit...

What is your display resolution?

I never opted for multi-monitor systems because I hate having "lines" between them, but a lot of people (at work too) uses them. I would rather buy something like this   :) Now I have a "old" 1600x900 HP monitor (it was of my old PC I took 10 years ago), but still works quite wel...

Science and Astronomy Questions

If a wormhole is traversable both ways, how can it emit Hawking radiation?

I'm not saying it actually emits Hawking radiation, I'm saying it might evaporate like Black Holes but with a obviously different process.
Anyways, this is nothing but pure speculation.

Science and Astronomy Questions

Or would the small size and mass of such an object render it inherently unstable? Actually microscopic black holes tends to evaporate very quickly due to Hawking Radiation irradiating an incredible amount of energy, I think a similar phenomena might occur in microscopic wormholes. So it would be st...

Using MIDI for Controls

I don't think so, but you can try to use it as it was a controller: you go into controls settings, press the keys and see what happens.
If it doesn't work you can search if it's possible to do it via a plugin or some external software.

It looks like Virgin Galactic did it again! CdgsdDZCEjg Very cute! I liked it! What do you think guys about this ?  :) It seems like they "reversed time" on a quantum computer and they found out qubit (quantum computer's bits) returned to their initial state in the 85% of cases when they ...
