Work progress 0.990

Found it, it's here! https://www.reddit.com/r/spaceengine/comments/7ts7dx/will_version_090_and_on_be_paid/ I don't know if it's correct since I remember SpaceEngineer saying it is difficult to maintain both Steam and website version, so I assume newest version will only be paid and on Steam, or Ste...

Work progress 0.990

There's one thing that could be added before it's release... custom terrain. I mean, the terrain in earth-like planets appear very generic. The program could have more codes for landscape, related to the shape of land or continents. Look at Earth, Mars, Venus and Titan. Such worlds have very unique...

That on my 8 thread CPU runs at 2-3 FPM, yes frames per minute!  Forget cinebench R15 or ashes of the benchmark, run the ones in USB2 lol

LOL
Also KSP is very good for that!

Science and Astronomy Questions

Question: Is it possible to refill ships of fuel while they are in orbit? If yes, why isn't it convenient to do it?

A large but empty ship refilled in orbit would have an incredibly high Delta-V, I think, allowing things like asteroid capture and more  :)

Totally off-topic thread

It would be very nice if I was good enough to create a 3D model of this picture:

A game set in a stanford torus is a dream I always had.

Will 0.980 shader mods still be compatible with 0.990?

Work progress 0.9.8.1 = 0.9.9.0

If you keep adding features, the release might be ages away. Squad(makers of Kerbal Space Program) released KSC 1.0 partially incomplete, and just added a few features per update until 1.0.5, which had everything implemented for the full release. Just an idea, but it might make each feature seem bi...

Assuming something like the Alcubierre drive, if one flew by Earth would it produce gravitational waves and be detectable even though it is moving FTL? I think no. Many processes like, for example, shadows are a consequence of other processes and might have an "apparent motion" that is gr...
