How do I even reply to this?

Yeah, I missed that temperature increases, so pressure does NOT vary as  \dfrac{k}{x^3} , because all they did was  PV = Constant , which holds only for isothermal collapses. The 4/8 ratio is what was mentioned in the original post ( https://imgur.com/a/85D81 ) in the second image. Watsisname wrote:...

You could (crudely) say that once gravity wins, it 'keeps' winning over pressure because of the '4/8 ratio'. If you consider very heavy partices in a small area, the gravity should win over pressure, at that limit. On the oher hand, if the particles are very light, pressure will win. There has to be...

Troubleshooting and bug reports - SpaceEngine 0.9.8.0

This happened to me: http://i.imgur.com/suSwlUd.png Maybe because the distance is very big, but it runs smoothly on resuming, taking only 10 seconds to turn. The big distance crashed it later on the journey, though, when it went near a star cluster. What I did: Park a ship in interstellar space. Exp...

SE Object Extremes

Big star that I found on the old forum (I take no credit): RS 0-0-0-733-7216-0-0-31
It has 164.52 A.U. radius and 300 solar masses.

General suggestions for SpaceEngine

In the in-game editor, is there a way for automatically calculating length of orbit (like 1-year) based on semimajor-axis and radius of black hole given its mass? Like you could click a button that says 'Calculate' and it sets the expected parameters. Also hide luminosity for non-stars, etc.
