What UI skin do you use?

Honestly never used anything else other than the default, never gave it thought until now.

Took some pictures of the moon tonight. Might not be as impressive as you guys, though, but I quite like them.

That's old news.
NewSaturnMoons.sc
(They'll be officially in SpaceEngine soon.)

May be old news though it is interesting nevertheless. Just found out about it yesterday.

31670 What if there was an atom with electrons in the center, and the protons and neutrons surrounding the electron nucleus, in a shell or a housing. Fascinating question. First off, the reason that the protons and neutrons are in the central nucleus surrounded by electrons, and not vice versa, is ...

Why is the moon 400 times smaller than the sun, and why does it line up perfectly with the Sun? Is there a natural explanation for these coincidences?

I made a solar system around Deneb. The giant versions of the solar system are going to be taking place around existing stars.

This is the Wolf Rayet star system, the sun is a star with the mass of 310 suns, however I have edited the orbits of the planets to also be 310 times larger than they are so that everything wouldn't be scorched. It is located slightly above the Galactic plane. https://i.imgur.com/OqFjzRJ.jpg

This is the B class sun viewed from B.Neptune, we are reaching the point where the moons of Uranus and Neptune are the only 'habitable' places in the solar system by temperature alone. The inner solar system is a hot mess. https://i.imgur.com/P4JVpBG.jpg The O class system is starting to go into the...

Here we have the A class sun, it is reaching the point to where Jupiter's moons are becoming habitable, however I will be making a variant of this later on today. As usual the 'dc' at the end of the file means it belongs in stars.

Lets say that we had a planet with 0.92 Earth gravity, that had evolved humans on it, how would they be different?

With this being it's moon.

Solar System dynamics discussion thread

Very interesting, so the L4 and L5 points are possible for planets to lie, the L3 is not a stable point for planets to lie, though asteroids can lie there. How about the L1 and L2 points? Could an asteroid or a small planet stay in those areas over long periods of time?

I think that I have messed up the sc files for the Neutron star sun, so I will be fixing that sometime. I decided to kill 4 birds with 1 stone and do the white dwarf, red dwarf, K type, and F type suns. The files with the 'sc' at the end go in the stars folder, and the other files go in the planets ...

Made the Neutron Star sun, it isn't much different from the black hole sun system. To get to it, it is 'Q.Sol'.
