Troubleshooting and bug reports - SpaceEngine 0.9.8.0

20086 i got a daylight of the face facing the black hole, and a dark side… well, dark. As if there was absolutely no star illuminating the dark side. I suppose that's because an object in SpaceEngine can only be illuminated by a certain number of light sources. As far as I know, an octuple star sys...

Troubleshooting and bug reports - SpaceEngine 0.9.8.0

Hello everyone, I'm modding some multi-star systems (see attachments), and something odd happen regarding light on planets. General suggestions for SpaceEngine
This is currently impossible. I mean, even the Gaia archive (accesible by SQL) needs a lot of time to load even a portion of the data. But sure, I'm working from time to time on a more modest addon with the corrected distances (is not as easy as it seems sinc...

The Gaïa mission will yield in few hours very interesting data for SpaceEngine, about 1.3 billions stars, allowing a very precise map of our galaxy, and a deconstruction of its history ! The release is cur...
You can download copyright free music from the YouTube Audio Library.
Thanks for the link, i didn't know that website. As far i can see, it's a (small) equivalent to [FMA](http://freemusicarchive.org/), in which i've found lot of music suited for SE. The question fo...

Mods and Addons - Requests, suggestions and ideas

Hi all ! I'm working on musical addon (and  its generator). I would like to know if there is any list of possible context allowed for the musics, and also if there is a method to determine if a context is valid. The doc seems n...

Wine, Mesa and SpaceEngine 0.9.8

Space Engine runs fine under wine ; it just depends of which version is used (to my experience, 2.14 is fine, 2.15 is not).

Source: i'm playing Space Engine under linux using wine.

Thanks for the openal trick, though.

Translators

12717 I'd like to have the v.0.981 ''fra-gui.cfg'' file in order to translate the new terms. Here is the French language file. fra-gui.cfg Some typos i saw: zoom -> Zoom Chiens de Casse -> Chiens de Chasse Also, i'm not sure that the best translation of *warp* is *distorsion*. Litteral, yes, but *b...
